to say it was another absolutely stinking incredible trip, it would be the total truth! we accomplished so much! i don't think we quite realized just how much had happened, until i started writing it down π³
and we had SO MUCH FUN IN THE PROCESS!!! lydia and i live together well... at least we did twice for a month each time in both june and november π
we had our last kids' club (the staff is continuing it throughout december and increasing to 5x a week!). we got packed, reorganized, repacked lol. whew.
saturday, justin picked us up (we adore you, justin!), and it was the most fun road trip EVER! we laughed hard so many times. there may have been screaming into the sunset, offroading, and jokes of flat tires and running out of gas, but we made it to the airport regardless (after a trip per tradition to the sahara coffee in narok, the halfway point). so glad that bella came along, so she could see her family for a few days.
in the picture of lydia with our suitcases, little did we know yet that a fiasco was brewing. two and a half hours later, we had rebooked a ticket, lost a backpack, found a backpack, and made it to our gate with literal minutes to spare. another memory π¬
and just like that, we were back home ❤️ crazy thankful.
until next time kenya, i love you so so very much ❤️
