a definite standout about kenya as a whole is that there are people walking EVERYWHERE and ALL THE TIME. at home in my neck of the woods, you wouldn't see people walking along country roads, highways, even neighborhoods. it is completely opposite here.
after a long lunch, stephen dropped michelle and i off at the national museum of kenya. i learned so much! we had a sweet, history buff young girl, risper. it was enlightening and painful to learn about the history of kenya fighting for its independence.
and we won't see stephen again this trip. thank you Father for the gift of this blessed friendship you formed....
then we went to eat at fogo gaucho.... oh my, crocodile, turkey, beef, and chicken! best full meal we have had.... and i wouldn't trade the endless supply of fresh juices available everywhere for anything.i for sure eat wayyy better here than home 😏
we came back to the ibis hotel and went to sleep at a decent hour. tuesday morning meant no alarm clock, yay!!! this was our last sleep in kenya. i haven't had jet lag really and have felt really strong physically, and i am very very grateful for that.
tuesday morning, michelle and i met for breakfast and to have a working meeting just the two of us. we poured out everything we had in us, so she can have a working document to revise as she fully develops the vision here with her board of directors back home.
and then we got a 90-minute full body deep muscle massage. dang, brittney, you rock sister!!
we are now packing up, meeting justin for dinner, and heading to airport at 8:00 p.m. for an 11:30 flight. oh, how i am praying we don't miss our connecting flight in pairs. soooo hopeful. it is going to be another long 36 hours even without any hiccups : /

the trip might be coming to an end, but God’s work will never! praying for safe travels. love you 🤍
