days 14 and 15

this is tuesday in one picture. bella and i spent the majority of the day organizing, planning, and ordering more supplies for security guards, housekeepers, teachers, nurse, social workers, the girls, and kitchen staff. my goodness, they are so grateful for the most basic of goods.

i still felt pretty run down from sunday, so i was wayyyy happy that we'd already planned an all-day meeting on tuesday. bella is gone all next week, and i am the one to make sure everything keeps running smoothly. gulp. 

wednesday is the halfway point of my longest trip. it has been really really good. i have two homes that feel equally right 💕 that is so awesome to be able to say that!

we went to see linety today. we came in november, and this time she seemed warmer toward us. i think she senses we are not one hit wonders, but people that will stay in touch and are wanting to help her. we took kitchen staples, shoes for everyone, and a spiderman t-shirt (thanks, phoeb!) and school fees money for her oldest son. 

it was a bittersweet visit. may we never ever ever be okay with this level of poverty. 

and then we came back to the rescue center and kept working on their diamond art and potholder projects. i absolutely love these girls! and to think they were living just like linety's girls not very long ago. that is mind-blowing!!!

just an easy, familiar, beautiful routine here. always people coming and going with so much love and joy and laughter. there's something magical about this place 💕
