it happens every time. i don't know if it is a combination of jet lag and doing so many new things or what!!! the days blur. i have to rack my brain on what happened when. i realize nobody cares, but me 😆... but i care lol! this blog is my way of journaling. i have journaled every day since the beginning of 2016, and dang it! i am not stopping now 😂!
lydia spent long stretches of time over at the fence dancing with the kids (there are more everyday) and teaching them english. it makes me proud to see her heart for kids. phoebe's love for kids was the same; she, too, was the fence girl 😊
luke was center of many of the worker's attention with the drone.... he captured amazing videos of the entire property from every angle. it makes you realize just how expansive this project is. it.is.impressive! to see the drone footage, go to the facebook page for In His Hands Orphans Outreach. you'll love it ❤️
with the fence finished, alex and luke started on the goat shelter. it is elevated to keep the goats off the moist ground in rainy months. they did all the fence and shelter at no cost, except for two gate hinges, using the construction scraps.
and two random pictures of two workers who were perfect photo opportunities! -- a guy who'd been doing final sanding in bedrooms of rescue center. the second is the girl plumber who totally holds her own as the only female worker.... we are pumped to think our future girls can be just like her -- strong, confident, and beautiful 🤗
thank you for joining me on the journey. la la salama from kisii 😴
